We are now just seven minutes away from the start of the 2010 Formula One World Championship and what a season it promises to be
There are four world champions lining up on the grid and all of them are predicted to be in very competitive cars. The winners of the last two championships, Hamilton and Button are both racing for the same team, McLaren. Seven times world champion Michael Schumacher has returned and returned in a silver arrow which last raced in Formula One 55 years ago!
There's lots of change. There are four new teams, Lotus, Mercedes, Virgin and Hispania Racing Team. There are new regulations which see smaller front wheels on the car and a new points' scheme which rewards a win with a bigger points haul. Refuelling is banned and Red Bull are rumoured to have got their pits stops down to a record breaking 1.4 seconds, with just the tyres to change.
So which of our World Champions have excelled in practice well, all of them look promising but it was another driver, Nico Rosberg, Michael Schumacher's new Team mate, who topped the tables after Friday practice!
When David Coulthard and Jake Humphrey where asked by Chris Moyles to predict their winners for this weekend here's what they said:
David Coulthard; 1st Sebastian Vettel, 2nd Fernando Alonso, 3rd Lewis Hamilton
Jake Humphrey; 1st Jenson Button, 2nd Felipe Massa, 3rd Lewis Hamilton
