VIP Adrenaline Goes Green

VIP Adrenaline with help from the carbon trust have implemented a new policy to reduce their environmental impact.

At VIP Adrenaline we have always been a socially and we would hope environmentally responsible business and we have decided that the time has come to formalize the measures we take. We have now created a company policy on our environmental and social impact utilising the help available from the carbon trust.

We aim to always employ sustainable and environmentally sensitive methods of work. Purchase supplies and services from the local business community. Recycle office waste and be sensible in our use of energy.

The practical steps we are taking;

REDUCING PAPER WASTE

We have implemented a "think before you print" campaign for office emails. And you may well see this logo appear on your e-mails.

Please consider the environment before printing this e-mail.

We have installed multi-function devices (for faxing, printing and photocopying) in our offices that will reduce energy and paper usage

All the paper that we use is either from recycled or sustainable sources.

RECYCLING

We recycle where possible all our office paper, cardboard and plastic waste. We also recycle mobile phones and printer cartridges. Old office furniture and electrical goods where permitted by law are donated to local charities.

LOWERING OUR ENERGY USE

It has been estimated that British businesses could easily save up to 20% of there energy costs by not leaving equipment on standby. On average offices waste six thousand pounds each year by leaving equipment on at weekends and bank holidays.

At VIP Adrenaline we have a policy of turning off all equipment and lights when the office is empty. Our heating costs are also reduced by having double glazing in our offices. This not only reduces our carbon footprint but saves us money, these savings can then be passed on to our customers.
